Hello, I’m Danielle, Senior Director, People Experience at Customer.io! We're expanding our people team in the United States and seeking a People Partner to support our global team in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This is a great fit for an HR professional with a few years of experience who's ready to deepen their impact as a partner to the business.

The People Partners at Customer.io are advocates for our people, leveraging their skills in data analytics, change management, and industry knowledge. They use these skills to enhance Customer.io’s transformation, agility, and efficiency, delivering meaningful outcomes for both our team members and the business.

You'll work alongside a cross-functional team to support talent management, development, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Strong communication, critical thinking, and a foundation in workforce planning will set you up for success. Some things you'll do:

  • Support business alignment: Partner with departmental leaders to understand business needs and help develop plans that build organizational capabilities and support growth.
  • Performance management: Own and elevate our review cycles end to end — lead the annual and bi-annual processes, guide calibration and compensation decisions, and coach managers to build accountability and develop talent across the team.
  • Employee relations: Guide managers and employees through day-to-day questions and concerns with fairness and sound judgment, fostering a positive, respectful work environment.
  • Organizational development: Help assess team structures and work with leaders to identify areas for improvement and put changes into practice.
  • Change management support: Support organizational change efforts and help build change-readiness across teams.
  • Leadership support: Build strong working relationships with managers to understand their needs in the context of business goals, and provide day-to-day partnership and guidance.
  • Data analysis: Review and analyze People metrics and analytics (including employee experience and lifecycle data) to spot trends and support informed decisions.
  • Employee engagement: Work with leaders to roll out engagement initiatives.
  • People programs support: Help develop and implement people programs that foster employee growth and development.
  • People team support: Be an active member of the People Experience team, contributing to strong HR capabilities.
